Prescription Food Plans at New Health Medical Center
For those who are serious about their health and preventing future serious health crises, your ultimate goal should be a complete, personal prescription food plan. Since our Center for Natural Medicine evaluates and treats each patient’s overall physical and mental condition, this personalized diet plan is also our goal. On one large page, the plan lists all foods under the categories of vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds, meats, poultry, fish, spices, etc. Color coding allows for quick differentiation of foods that are healthful based on all the criteria entered into the computer program and based on all relevant research, as well as foods that should be avoided and foods that should not be eaten frequently. The plan also clearly indicates individual food allergens or sensitivities based on test results. In addition, data on ideal weight, daily calories, and daily content of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats are provided based on body measurements (including fat composition). The accompanying information allows one to use a food diary and provides shopping, cooking, and eating guidelines.
The first step in developing a prescription food plan is to schedule a naturopathic medical consultation with Dr. Kitaeff. He will take a complete medical history and perform an examination. Next, he will recommend a complete blood chemistry panel, including an assessment of the thyroid, vitamins D and B12, blood type, and viral infection factors. Additional body chemistry testing will assess mineral levels, including toxic heavy metals, adrenal (stress) hormones, food allergens, and for some patients male or female hormones or digestive stool analysis. All data from this test will be combined with information from the medical history and examination, body type, blood type, and body measurements to generate a complete personal prescription food plan from a computer.
Are you wondering how well these things are helping your body? Then you can pick up the Biophilia Tracker X4 MAX at hand and easily know if it is working and know the status of your body through testing.
This achieves the goal of food as medicine, the ultimate goal of maintaining health with a natural medicine approach. Since all patient health conditions are submitted as criteria for the program, the dietary recommendations are based on all available clinical research on therapeutic nutrition for these conditions. In addition, if a person is trying to lose weight, then knowing the foods that are suitable for their body is obviously valuable in maintaining long-term weight loss.
